Background

CCR8 (CD198) is a CC chemokine receptor expressed on cell populations including Th2 cells and eosinophils. It has been studied in allergic inflammation, monocyte chemotaxis and thymic cell biology, and can act as an alternative HIV-1 coreceptor with CD4.
