Synonym
CD8 alphaβ CD8A&CD8B;
Source / expression
Recombinant Mouse CD8 alpha&beta Heterodimer Protein is expressed as a heterodimer of CD8 alpha and CD8 beta by co-expression in HEK293. Subunit CD8 alpha is fused with a His tag at the C-terminus and subunit CD8 beta is fused with a Flag tag at the C-terminus.It contains Lys28-Tyr196 (CD8 alpha) acidic tail and Leu22-Thr175 (CD8 beta) basic tail [Accession | P01731(CD8 alpha)&P10300(CD8 beta)].
Molecular weight
The protein has a predicted MW of 24.80 kDa (CD8 alpha) and 23.17 kDa (CD8 beta). Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 32-38 kDa and 42-50 kDa based on Bis-Tris PAGE result.
Endotoxin
Less than 1 EU per μg by the LAL method.
Purity
> 95% as determined by Bis-Tris PAGE
> 95% as determined by HPLC
Formulation
Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution
Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. Please refer to the Certificate of Analysis for detailed instructions.
Storage
-20 to -80°C for 12 months as supplied from date of receipt.
-80°C for 3 months after reconstitution.
Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. Please minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
